Join us on 9/30/09 at 7pm for an event like no other. In celebration of Boston Fashion Week, we are going to be giving some of Boston’s Social Media Men a Makeover!!
There’s been a formidable disconnect between the world of style and the social media stratosphere, until now…..
This is no regular from geek-to-chic proposition. These Twitter gurus are thought leaders, technically gifted, and getting more and more exposure by the moment (as are their Dockers pleated khakis). They’re being called upon to be keynote speakers, join distinguished panels, and make traditional media appearances as industry experts.
For these guys amassing hundreds of thousands of followers is easy. Coordinating one comfortable, stylish look for their presentation, not so much. That’s where Emmi Sorokin, National Men’s Wardrobe Stylist steps in.
So come out for a night of fashion and fun as we transform these men from geek-to-chic right before your eyes!
Event details including location will be emailed to ticket holders, reserve yours now.

@cc_chapman is a digital dad beloved by all. He loves public speaking and is about to be doing a lot more of it since his company was acquired by Campfire. Since he has built much of his social media empire from his home office, C.C. hadn’t given much thought to his image and style. Recent changes though will be thrusting C.C. into the spotlight with increased frequency and he found himself unsure where to turn. Enter stage left, Christine Major, High Tech Pr and Social Media Prowho thought C.C. would be perfect for the Men of Social Media MakeOver. Fate? Party of one, your table is ready. Still initially unsure, C.C. came around after Emmi promised that a full body wax was not involved . C.C. is now psyched about getting his style to match his one-of-a-kind personality.

@bostonmike is the VP Marketing & Sales of Awareness, Inc., proud new papa with beautiful wife, Speaker, and OBSESSIVE Boston sports fan. Rarely without a Boston team baseball cap Mike likes clothing that is too large for his frame. His favorite designers are Sports Authority, Hanes, and Red Sox Nation. Although he had given his image consideration, with a very full professional and personal life Mike did not know how to, or have time to, find his own comfortable and professional style.

@stuartfoster is a Principal at The Lost Jacket and Strategist at Mullen. Facing a common challenge for someone who is successful at a young age – instantly establishing his credibility with a room full of senior executives and business leaders while maintaining his own style. Currently Stuart wears mostly Polo, Brooks Brothers, LaCoste, all ‘safe’ choices but no wonder when asked about his feelings on his personal style, Stuart answered “Meh.” Emmi’s going to add some variety to his I-could-be-on-Martha’s-Vineyard repertoire and edge up his look.
