Have to absolutely agree with you on this from my personal experience. I have car racing shoes (Puma Speedcats) and driving mocs (Stacy Adams). Both would not last 6 months of daily use. Puma soles are narrow, so you wear out the sides. Stacy Adams makes solid product, but lack of arch support will kill you feet.
BTW, shoes shown in this post are absolutely unfit for driving. Those knobs reduce contact patch with the pedals. All it takes is a bit of moisture to make your foot slip off that brake pedal.</description>
